With its joint legislative partner, the National Apartment Association, NMHC serves as the apartment industry’s primary advocate on legislative and regulatory matters. The Council also conducts apartment-related research, produces strategic information on business-related issues, and promotes the desirability of apartment living. TPCO is currently the 12th largest off-campus student-housing provider in the nation. Preiss says that her company’s involvement in NMHC is one of the reasons TPCO continues to be a student-housing leader.
“The industry contacts I make and the timely information I receive through NMHC are invaluable,” says Preiss. “The ability to anticipate industry trends or fluctuations in the market is what keeps [the Preiss Company] ahead of the curve and positioned for success. I’m proud to support NMHC and equally honored to be serving on its Board of Directors with so many talented and dedicated professionals from across the nation.”
