The TPCO Spotlight Award is designed to recognize the stars within the TPCO portfolio and highlight their achievements and successes throughout the year. The Spotlight Award recognizes those individuals who reinforce the TPCO Student Commitment of “delivering the best student experience anywhere”.
It’s our pleasure to announce the winner of the TPCO Spotlight Award for March 2017.
This month’s award goes to the Accounting Team of Jaymi Allen and Carly Bradshaw in our Corporate Office in Raleigh, NC!
Jaymi Allen and Carly Bradshaw joined the Property Accounting team in April 2016. Jaymi, a graduate of North Carolina State University, previously worked for a Raleigh-based specialty contractor for 10 years. Carly, a graduate of UNC Wilmington, previously worked for a clinical research company in the Triangle for six years. They both decided to join the Preiss Company to be part of growing organization in an entirely new industry to them.
Jaymi and Carly oversee the accounting and reporting of 12 projects in our portfolio representing 4,000 beds and working with six different owners. Over the past year, they have done a wonderful job in acclimating themselves to the company, immersing themselves in our culture and ensuring that each of the properties they are responsible for have timely and accurate reporting. They also place a high importance on building relationships working closely with the Regional Managers and Property Managers on these properties to fully understand how each property works and are excited to learn more and more each day.
They are an absolute delight to work with and go out of their way to ensure Property Managers have the tools needed to ensure a smooth budget variance process. They were also instrumental in helping their PMs develop budgets at our Budget Summit in Wilmington this past year. They are tremendous assets in helping answer and troubleshoot all Owner questions and concerns for properties they lead the accounting on.
Lastly, for anyone that has been to our corporate office, Jaymi and Carly’s work stations are located right by the back door in which everyone enters and exits. While it may not be the best location in the office, they are always greet with a big smile and a hello, even taking the time to chat with anyone who passes by their stations.
