Listing marks Raleigh real estate company’s eighth consecutive appearance in industry trade journal


RALEIGH, NC – September 10, 2012 – The Preiss Company is pleased to announce that is has again been recognized as one of the Triangle’s top Women-Owned Businesses by Triangle Business Journal. The Preiss Company, the fifth largest privately held and largest woman-owned owner and operator of private student housing, has made “The List” every year since 2005. Triangle Business Journal ranked businesses by the number of employees in the Triangle. 

Over the years, The Preiss Company has been a multi-year recipient of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s coveted Pinnacle Business Award, winner of the Metro Bravo Award for Residential Real Estate, and winner of the Triangle Fast 50 Award for fastest growing company. The company has also been recognized by Triangle Business Journal as one of the Top Apartment Property Management Companies, as well as one of the Top Commercial Real Estate Brokers. The company was also honored by Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network with their Impact Award and awarded the Steady Growth and Profitability Master Award by the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, the company’s Georgia property, University Village at Southern, claimed top housing honors by Connect Statesboro readers for the third consecutive year.
